Our houseboat is moored at pier 86 in the marina. From your private sun deck, you have the perfect view across the harbor to Burgstaaken. You are right in the middle of the maritime action, yet completely relaxed. This is a vacation on Fehmarn like you have never experienced before.
The location not only offers you a unique experience, but also practical advantages: a bakery, a small supermarket for essentials, and even a 24/7 vending machine kiosk are in the immediate vicinity. The public barbecue area at the marina is at your disposal, and for families there is a children's playground right by the harbor.
The popular South Beach is only 900 meters away—a leisurely walk or short bike ride, and you're standing on the fine sand of the Baltic Sea. Here you can swim, sunbathe, or simply relax and unwind. The Charchulla water sports school offers courses and rentals for anyone who wants to get active.
The historic town of Burgstaaken with its colorful fishing boats is within walking distance. Stroll along the quay, watch the fishermen moor their boats, and buy fresh fish directly from the boats. The houseboat cannot depart: Our houseboat is moored at the marina and is not intended for sailing. It is a vacation home on the water—with all the advantages of modern accommodation and the special flair of maritime life.
Gentle rocking is part of it: Although the houseboat is securely moored, it moves slightly with the waves. Most people find this gentle rocking pleasant and it contributes to the special atmosphere. If you are very sensitive to movement, you should take this into account when booking.
Severe weather and port closure: In extremely rare cases, severe storms may necessitate the closure of the marina. In this case, we would temporarily relocate you to alternative accommodation until the marina is reopened. This is for your safety and occurs very rarely.
No pets: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on houseboats. If you would like to travel with your dog, we are happy to offer you one of our dog-friendly Vacation homes with dog an.
Parking: Free parking is available in the public parking areas for boat moorings at the marina. No stress, just park and enjoy your vacation.
