You can check in between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at our administrative office located at Industriestr. 6 in Burg on Fehmarn. You may move into your accommodation immediately afterward. Unfortunately, early check-in is not possible.

Check-out must be completed by 10:00 a.m. Please either return the key in person to our office in Burg or drop it into the designated key drop box at the office.

Yes, contactless check-ins are available. Please let us know your preference by email or phone at least one week before your arrival.

If you plan to arrive after 6:00 p.m., please call us in advance at 04371 86 42 01 We will then set up a key safe for you. You will find the code on your booking confirmation.

The prices listed on our website already include final cleaning, electricity, water, and the service fee. There are no hidden additional costs.

Bedding and towels are not included, unless explicitly stated in the amenities, but can be added to your booking.

No security deposit is required.

The visitor’s tax must be paid separately as a local tax. You can find more information on this under the heading “Do we have to pay visitor’s tax, and what is the Ostseecard?”

Bed linens and towels are not included in the rental price. You can add these when booking or at check-in: Bed linens cost 20 euros per set, towels 10 euros per set, and a combo set of bed linens and towels 30 euros per set.

Yes, all tourists aged 18 and older are required to pay the visitor’s tax. During the off-season, it is 1.50 euros per person per day; during the high season (May 15 to September 14), it is 2.30 euros per person per day.

You will receive the Ostseecard as proof of eligibility. You can pick up a physical card at check-in or download a digital Ostseecard to your smartphone before your arrival, as soon as we have received all the necessary information from you.

Wi-Fi is not available in all accommodations. Please check the amenities list on the respective property page to see if your chosen accommodation has Wi-Fi.

Parking is available at most accommodations. Please note that we cannot guarantee a designated parking space at all accommodations. For accommodations at the Strandburg, for example, you will receive a parking pass that allows you to park for free in the public parking lot in front of the building.

Fehmarn is connected to the mainland via the Fehmarnsundbrücke and is easily accessible by car. Please note that the train service between Lübeck and Puttgarden has been suspended due to the planned Fehmarn Belt crossing. Instead, “X85 Fehmarn” rail replacement buses run hourly from Lübeck Central Station. Please check with the Travel information from Deutsche Bahn.

In addition to your own car or bicycle, the Ostseecard allows you to use the community bus for free. Furthermore, since August 2025, you can use public bus transportation free of charge within the Fehmarn-Burg fare zone. This applies to both tourists and locals and covers Burg, Burgtiefe, Neue Tiefe, Landkirchen, Wulfen, and other districts. Dogs and bicycles may be brought along free of charge, subject to availability.
