The Christmas market on Fehmarn is a special highlight for the island every year. During this time, the market square in the city center is transformed into a small winter wonderland.
The cozy atmosphere, the delicious drinks and food, and the great (live) music and other shows make a visit worthwhile. In addition, there are always all kinds of exhibitors on site where you can buy a wide variety of items.

The opening hours of the winter market in Burg on Fehmarn vary from year to year. In 2026, the Christmas market opens on 26.11.2026 and closes on 30.12.2026. 24.12. and 25.12.2026 are closing days.
The following opening hours apply in 2026:
Monday to Friday from 3:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday from 12:00 p.m.
