This exclusive vacation home with a sea view is an absolute paradise for families and parents with children or larger groups of friends. Once you have entered the vacation home, you will be thrilled by the many rooms, the great layout and especially by the incomparable view directly onto the Baltic Sea.
From the balcony of this vacation home, you can overlook almost the entire southern beach and look far out to the sea, while you can let the salty sea air blow around your nose.
If you want to retreat in the evening, you can make yourself comfortable on the comfy sofas, or you can all sit down at the dining table for a delicious dinner. In the kitchen, you not only have everything you need to whip up delicious meals, but also enough space to cook well with 2 people.
For breakfast or even in between, you can, of course, pull a delicious hot coffee. Or maybe you want to make an iced coffee out of it?
The two separate bedrooms and the gallery are particularly lovingly furnished and await you at night, so you can slowly sail into the land of dreams, before you wake up the next morning strengthened and refreshed.
In the bathroom you can freshen up after your trips to the beach or across the island, wash off the sand and with the help of the washing machine and dryer you can also wash or dry clothes.

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of the Strandburg. With the help of the elevator, you can reach the apartment very comfortably, even with a lot of luggage or baby carriages. The apartment house is located only a few meters from the beach, so you not only have a direct view of the sea, but you can also leave the house in your bathing suit, and go directly into the sea.
Of course, you can also make yourself comfortable on the fine sand beach, soak up the sun, listen to the seagulls, the sea or music, or maybe even finally read that book you've been wanting to read for a long time.
In the Strandburg you will also find an Italian ice cream parlor, a bakery and a 24/7 Kiosk. Along the promenade there are many different restaurants, cafés and beach bars where you can get cold and hot refreshments. A bicycle rental, the "FehMare", Fehmarn's seawater wave pool and swimming pool, and a small grocery store are also within walking distance.
Fehmarn offers a wide range of activities, sights and culinary highlights for you to try out, visit and sample. You can also rent beach chairs and sports equipment. The vacation home itself with its view is already a highlight, but it is made even better by the fireplace, which you can use to warm up by a crackling fire while looking out to sea. Sehr gut, wir waren sehr zufrieden
Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe vor der Strandburg, der Bäcker und die Eisdiele im Erdgeschoss sorgten für kurze Wege.
Sehr gut war auch der Service zum Strandkorb, welcher einen super Platz am Strand hatte.
Die Wohnung direkt an der Promenade, mit toller Aussicht und guter Ausstattung, sowie die sehr gute Betreuung durch die Inselblume haben für einen sehr schönen und problemlosen Urlaub gesorgt.
Wir werden sicher wieder kommen und bei der Inselblume buchen. Wenn es nicht diese Wohnung sein kann, dann wird uns Inselblume sicher eine ebenso gute Wohnung anbieten können.

Frequently Asked Questions
When can we check in, and when do we have to check out?
You can check in between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at our administrative office located at Industriestr. 6 in Burg on Fehmarn. You may move into your accommodation immediately afterward. Unfortunately, early check-in is not possible.
Check-out must be completed by 10:00 a.m. Please either return the key in person to our office in Burg or drop it into the designated key drop box at the office.
Can we check in contactlessly or arrive late?
Yes, contactless check-ins are available. Please let us know your preference by email or phone at least one week before your arrival.
If you plan to arrive after 6:00 p.m., please call us in advance at 04371 86 42 01 We will then set up a key safe for you. You will find the code on your booking confirmation.
What is included in the rent?
The prices listed on our website already include final cleaning, electricity, water, and the service fee. There are no hidden additional costs.
Bedding and towels are not included, unless explicitly stated in the amenities, but can be added to your booking.
No security deposit is required.
The visitor’s tax must be paid separately as a local tax. You can find more information on this under the heading “Do we have to pay visitor’s tax, and what is the Ostseecard?”
Can we reserve bed linens and towels?
Bed linens and towels are not included in the rental price. You can add these when booking or at check-in: Bed linens cost 20 euros per set, towels 10 euros per set, and a combo set of bed linens and towels 30 euros per set.
Do we have to pay a visitor's tax, and what is the Ostseecard?
Yes, all tourists aged 18 and older are required to pay the visitor’s tax. During the off-season, it is 1.50 euros per person per day; during the high season (May 15 to September 14), it is 2.30 euros per person per day.
You will receive the Ostseecard as proof of eligibility. You can pick up a physical card at check-in or download a digital Ostseecard to your smartphone before your arrival, as soon as we have received all the necessary information from you.
Is there Wi-Fi at the accommodation?
Wi-Fi is not available in all accommodations. Please check the amenities list on the respective property page to see if your chosen accommodation has Wi-Fi.
Is there a parking lot?
Parking is available at most accommodations. Please note that we cannot guarantee a designated parking space at all accommodations. For accommodations at the Strandburg, for example, you will receive a parking pass that allows you to park for free in the public parking lot in front of the building.
Are pets allowed?

What is the best way to get to Fehmarn?
Fehmarn is connected to the mainland via the Fehmarnsundbrücke and is easily accessible by car. Please note that the train service between Lübeck and Puttgarden has been suspended due to the planned Fehmarn Belt crossing. Instead, “X85 Fehmarn” rail replacement buses run hourly from Lübeck Central Station. Please check with the Travel information from Deutsche Bahn.
What's the best way to get from point A to point B on the island?
In addition to your own car or bicycle, the Ostseecard allows you to use the community bus for free. Furthermore, since August 2025, you can use public bus transportation free of charge within the Fehmarn-Burg fare zone. This applies to both tourists and locals and covers Burg, Burgtiefe, Neue Tiefe, Landkirchen, Wulfen, and other districts. Dogs and bicycles may be brought along free of charge, subject to availability.
